TexBet has been acquired by betr – the betting brand for racing and sports fans.
TexBet accounts have now been moved to betr where you will enjoy bigger promotions, more markets, industry leading stats, insights and expert selections on all your favourite sports and racing codes. Moved accounts are available on betr. TexBet is no longer available.
When did it happen?
The move occurred overnight on Tuesday 27 June 2023 and completed at 7am AEST Wednesday 28 June 2023. TexBet will no longer be available from Tuesday 27 June 2023 from 7pm AEST.
What was moved?
Things are slightly different depending on whether you already have a betr account. At the time of the move:
TexBet customers without an existing betr account:
• Your account details
• Any available cash and bonus cash balances
• Deposit limit settings
• Marketing preferences for email and SMS communications
Deposit limits will reset from your first deposit after your account has been moved for the specified time for the limit (1, 7, 14 or 28 days). Your next (and all future deposit limit periods) apply from your next deposit following expiration of the previous period for the specified time (1, 7, 14, or 28 days).
TexBet customers that already have an existing betr account - the following has been transferred to your betr account:
• Any available cash and bonus cash balances
Any pending bets from TexBet that are due to settle after the move have been transferred, however they will not be visible in the betr app/website. When the market settles, any winnings will be credited to your betr account. If you wish to enquire about details of your pending bets you will be able to contact betr’s customer service team on 1800 002 387.

If we have identified that you have a betr account and you are currently on a break, you won't be able to access your betr account until your existing betr break is over. Once your break is over, you will be able to log in and use the betr website and app where your account balances from TexBet will be available for you.

I have permanently self-excluded at betr, what happens to my TexBet account?
If you have permanently self-excluded at betr, your account is ineligible for transfer. Any remaining cash balances in your TexBet account can be withdrawn via Texbet’s normal withdrawal process.

To access your account simply login using the email address registered to your TexBet account and your TexBet password.
Already an existing betr customer
If you already have an existing betr account, simply log in using your existing details and your TexBet balances will be in your account.
How will I be able to deposit into my betr account?
betr offers credit card, Apple Pay and bank transfer as deposit options.
For bank transfers, please ensure you include your betr account number and surname as the transaction reference so we can allocate it to your betting account.
